The Student Council President of the IS Academy, as well as the 17th leader of the Sarashiki Family and the IS Representative of Russia. She is the Academy's most powerful IS pilot (the position of Student Council President is only given to the strongest IS Academy student). She is assigned to protect Ichika after the Silver Gospel incident and used her position as president to become Ichika's roommate (much to Houki's jealousy). Unlike the other girls, Tatenashi likes to tease Ichika with her body, making him uncomfortable most of the time. She realizes she likes to flirt with Ichika, and after asking his help in regaining her younger sister Kanzashi's spirit, it is hinted that she may have developed feelings for him.
She is the pilot of the Mysterious Lady (ミステリアス・レイディ Misuteriasu Redi) IS.
