Fate Testarossa is the blonde-haired naïve girl who was first introduced as an enemy trying to collect the Jewel Seeds before Nanoha. Growing up, Fate was abused by her mother and has since then remained blindly and unquestionably loyal to Precia, her own mother. Unlike the cheerful and sweet Nanoha, Fate is more of the shy, quiet and reflective type. Her weapon is Bardiche and she specializes in electricity-based attacks which are remarkably faster than any other types of magic. Fate prefers in a mid-range and melee type combats preferring speed to power and endurance. She is accompanied by a mature wolf-woman, Arf, who is her familiar and her one and only friend before she met Nanoha.
