Tekken us a fighting game published and developed by Bandai Namco Games (Namco) and was released in 1994 in arcades and 1995 for the PlayStation. Later games of the series would be released for many consoles included the PlayStation 2, PSP (PlayStation Portable), Game Boy Advance, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U.

Tekken Plot:

The King of the Iron First is an international martial arts tournament with huge prize money rewarded to whoever defeats the host in the final round and is awarded the title “The King of the Iron First”. This worldwide tournament is backed up by the Mishima Zaibatsu which is also in a constant power struggle between its many owners. As each character has their own story and reason for joining, Tekken revolves around the Mishima family and their struggle against each other and their goal for world domination using the King of the Iron Fist tournament to settle their disputes.

Tekken Characters:

[Mishima Heihachi] – Heihachi is first owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu and the original host of the King of the Iron Fist tournament. He’s the main antagonist in the first Tekken game but becomes the protagonist in Tekken 2. He later plays an important role in the other games of the series. His sons are Kazuya and Lars and grandson, Jin.

[Mishima Kazuya] – Kazuya is the main protagonist of the first Tekken game and the main antagonist of Tekken 2 when he becomes the Mishima Zaibatsu’s owner and host of the second King of the Iron Fist tournament. He contains the entity, Devil, which he can turn into from time to time. He then becomes a major villain in the rest of the Tekken series and owner of the G Corporation. His grandfather is Heihachi Mishima, his half-brother is Lars Alexandersson, step brother of Lee Chaolan, husband of Jun Kazama and father of Jin Kazama.

[Kazama Jin] – Jin is the main protagonist after Heihachi. He joins the King of the Iron Fist tournament after Ogre kills his mother. He asks Heihachi to teach him martial arts to fight Ogre. He joins the tournament with the hope of killing Ogre. After defeating Ogre, he discovers he has the power of Devil. His grandfather is Heihachi Mishima, his parents are Jun Kazama and Kazuya Mishima and his half-uncle is Lars Alexandersson.

[Lars Alexandersson] – Lars is a Tekken Force officer and the leader of the coup d’état against the Mishima Zaibatsu. He is the main protagonist of the Tekken 6 game and tries to take down Jin Kazama. He is the illegitimate son of Heihachi Mishima, half-brother of Kazuya Mishima and the half-uncle of Jin Kazama.
