General Information:

Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai (Japanese: 俺たちに翼はない lit. We Without Wings) is a Japanese adult visual novel and eroge game by Navel Studios.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai was released for the PC on January 2009 with themes of drama, romance and even hints of comedy.
Nomad Studios later produced the anime adaptation of Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai together with Director Shinji Ushiro.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai was written by Takamitsu Kouno and produced by Makoto Ito.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai was licensed by Madman Entertainment, Funimation Entertainment and MVM Films which were released in the U.S.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai premiered on AT-X, CTC, Tokyo MX and TVS on April 2011 and briefly ended with 12 adventure-filled episodes.

Plot:

Oretachi ni Tsubasa Wa Nai follows the life of 3 unsuspecting young men in the bustling city of Yanagihara.
Its winter time and young people roam its busy streets, meeting other people and falling in love. But for three young men: Haneda Takashi, Chitose Shuusuke and Narita Hayato, their lives are about to change when they each meet Dura mysterious girl who turns their world upside down.


Haneda Takashi, who despite his young age, has decided to leave his rather dull school life behind and escape to another world but is held back by thoughts of leaving his awkward younger sister Kobato and his rather negligent girlfriend, Asuka, behind.
Chitose Shuusuke is a poor freeloader who balances his time working at various odd part-time jobs.
At one of his jobs, he has an unusually disastrous first encounter with a one Tamaizumi Hiyoko.
The two later meet again and discovers that they are fellow employees at his part time job.
Meanwhile, the rather self-proclaimed “hard-boiled” Narita Hayato has been working non-stop at back-breaking jobs as if it were nothing.
Hayato generally shuns human contact but would oftentimes get together with other delinquents during the night.
On one peculiar night, she meets the mysteriously cheerful and the undeniably oblivious Otori Naru.



Characters:

Takashi Haneda is a high school student in Yanagihara City. He has deluded himself into thinking that he is a hero of a fantasy realm to which he escapes the harsh reality. He refers to himself as “Lord Hawk”, the persona and identity of the so-called hero of this so-called fantasy world.


Shuusuke Chitose is a poor freeloader who has been bouncing from one part-time job to another. He mainly does freelance reporting and book reviews for Alexanders, from where he met Hiyoko Tamaizumi.


Hayato Narita is notorious for being antisocial. He works as a handyman. Albeit antisocial, he does go out of his way to meet with several other delinquents in the area during the night. He later earned himself the nickname “Drac” or “Dracula” for only appearing during the night. He later befriends Naru Ohtori who hires him to find her missing bicycle.
