x0x0xUsAx0x0x Apr 22, 2011... Every time I see this pic, I burst into tears...
It has SO much symbolism and depth, within it's beautifully colored emotion... I shall never see a more beautiful piece of this pairing; This pic ALONE shows why this pairing is my one and ONLY pairing... None else can compare... The sheer power and depth... It can not be matched...
Thank you for uploading this piece...
It is my ALL time favorite artwork I have ever seen...

Your Sempai Aug 16, 2012@ sad crying little babies
Grow a damn back bone would you? In the real world England didn't give two sh!ts about America after they gained independence, they had to worry about France then.
Now get angry and tell me this is Hetalia and not the real world!!! -
RiriKaze Aug 20, 2012^
Your a heartless monster, get out of this fandom!!!! >:(
Hahaha, just kidding.
You know, why is it that APH fanarts about the American Revolution is always sad and angsty? The US gained his independence, and yet I have not seen fanarts of America being triumphant and proud. Really.
And to any Americans here, so you do want the UK to win the Revolutionary War? Yeah, good luck with that. You'll regret it.
I heard that the US and UK has a better relationship as trading partners, so it's still there anyway. -

mehismyword Aug 23, 2012I don't see how some people consider things like the revolutionary war a usuk moment. It was the breaking of a brotherhood there was nothing romantic involved.
Great picture, very deep and meaningful. -
ninjacookieXD Aug 24, 2012Awwww This is what England saw at that moment still his little baby...(and few years later america is still his "Baby" ;D) sorry i had too XD

FallingStar17 Oct 14, 2012I treat Hetalia and real history separate things, so even though Arthur is crying for Alfred here, real life England & America back then didn't give a damn about each other. It's true. Look it up.
@Gerita American Chick: Um, Hetalia history does NOT correspond with real history in any way. You need to work your facts out and straighten real history from anime. -

Kyokyo<3 Feb 13, 2013Isn't strange how much Hetalia changes your view on history? Before I watched it, I could care less about the American Revolution. I remember learning about it and thinking, "UGH, this is so BORING. I don't care about this, can I just go home?" But after I saw this, it really made me think it all over. Hetalia made the countries into people who have feelings and relations, andI cried so much at this part. I don't think I'm explaining my thoughts well, but my point is, when you think of the countries as people like this, it changes what you feel about history, no? ;w;
I have so much fun with history class now. (Actually I just think of it like Hetalia, but hey, at least I'm paying attention now.) -

alfiedawg May 25, 2013This picture is amazing and powerful.
I always loved the history even before Hetalia.
I was obsessed with American history; however history made me love Hetalia, not the other way around. History is amazing, without the need of an anime or 'kawaii yaois' (which Hetalia isn't even...) not to mention this is not a UsUk pairing moment. If anything? It is the end of a 'family tie' and the beginning of a beautiful relationship, in which can be counted as a UsUk moment ONLY as the end of a family and the potential to gain more. However, I see no romance within the Revolutionary War at all, only much emotional strain and the start of a beautiful democracy that would soon rise to be the world power.
England (the country) did give two****s because America's independence sparked independence between OTHER colonies England owned. Soon after, Kenya got it's independence and loads others, causing for England to fall as an empire all together. I call that giving loads of ****s and****s, thank. America sparked a great sense of freedom in the world, but this is supposed to be from Hetalia's view point anyway. I think he would have cried definitely, due to how little it made him look as well as he lost the only other person who gave a crap about him. England is more heartless within Hetalia, so him opening up is rare. It was his fault Alfred left, and he knows it, so of course there would be emotions. Not to mention, he would become even more distant.
Despite it all, America and England have the greatest bond of any other two single countries currently and probably of all time. That is saying a lot.
