Zhongli is a Geo user and a consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
Zhongli is known for his calm and composed demeanor, often displaying a profound understanding of history, culture, and the world around him. As an adept Geo user, he possesses the power to manipulate the earth element, enabling him to shape and control stone and minerals.
He is later revealed to be the Geo Archon Rex Lapis, God of Contracts. He faked his death to fulfill an unknown contract with the Fatui, and now plans to allow the Liyue Qixing to govern the nation, while he enjoys his retirement.
Zhongli is also the prime Adeptus. His Adeptus form is a cross between a dragon and a qilin.
In the game's storyline, Zhongli plays a significant role in the city of Liyue, utilizing his expertise to offer advice and guidance to the Traveler.
Rex Lapis' Demon name is "Morax". At approximately 6000 years old, he is the oldest of the Archons and one of only two original Archons of the Seven.
