Yoko Littner (or Yoko Ritona) is the female protagonist of Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann hailing from Ritona village. She’s an accompanied Kamina and Simon on their journey for greatness when they first met at Jeeha Village. She also had a relationship with Kamina and 7 years later, Kittan. She has saved the Dai-Gurren Brigade out of many dire situations with her amazing sniping skills.

Yoko is very rational, mature and a tsundere. Underneath her tough combat exterior and aggressive demeanor, she is a loving and caring girl. Unlike the rest of Team Gurren, she analyzes the situation first before charging in whether it is a battle or relationship. She likes to keep to herself and hides behind a calm face when she’s depressed which was shown after Kamina’s death.

Yoko is a brilliant tactician and mechanic which is necessary for her to find weak points on Gunmen. One of her greatest shots was when she and Simon were piloting Gurren Lagann and despite the quick movements while shooting, only missed Viral by a hair.

When offered the opportunity to become a politician by Rossiu, she quickly declined and chose to become at teacher without the knowledge of the Dai-Gurren Brigade. This act shows her modesty and understanding of her limits.

Yoko was always proud of her prowess in combat but after witnessing any of her comrades’ deaths, she put down her rifle and tried to help the new generation in some other way. She loves children and is modest but can match the bravado of the Dai-Gurren Brigade.

Yoko has a light tan and fiery, long, red hair with a pony tail that reaches her lower back held together with chopsticks and her bangs at split into two sections on the side. She has brown eyes, is busty and has very pronounced curves.

Yoko’s classic outfit is the one with leather, black with red flame bikini top and black, rubber short shorts. She has fingerless biker gloves with yellow dots and a dull white scarf with red stripes. She wears a hair pin with a big skull design on the left-side of her head. She has peach-pink stockings and tall, white, zip-up boots with red flame designs and red under-sides.

When Kamina City was established, Yoko kept her cute facial features but with more mature, womanly accents. Her figure is more mature, slender, fit and busty.

She wore a similar outfit to her classic one but with a maroon jacket and no longer wears stockings.

When she returns to the Dai-Gurren Brigade, she wears a tight, rubber suit accented with black and white with patterns of yellow and red stars. It’s composed of a black tube top with a tallow star on the breasts, a white, two-tailed cloak with a star on the front and tight white leggings with golden stars running down her leg. He outfit finishes off with a black thong piece and red heels.
