Tsunokakushi is a traditional headwear worn by the bride together with shiromuku.
The origin of the headwear is unclear but the most commonly accepted origin is that when women become jealous, they turn into something like an ogre. Tsunokakushi sybolizes a woman hiding her horns and becoming a modest and obedient wife.
