Tanaka Masayoshi, is a Japanese animator and character designer.

After graduating from Yoyogi animation academy, he joined studio Artland. One of his most remarkable works from studio Artland is Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Before that, he had no experience of making character designs. After leaving Artland, he became a freelancer.

Other remarkable works from him are Toradora!, Anohana, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. and Kimi no Na wa.

He started to get more animator works and his name became more known around movie fans when the famous movie, Kimi no Na wa, was released in 2016.
