Ren Shiina is a younger student at Seishin Academy who is often seen with Sei and Kitamura. He has a timid and shy personality, and is not social with any other characters with the exception of Gaku, Nanami, and Nagase, who disdains Shiina at some points.
Shiina is a clone of Nanami fused with his genes and Aizawa's. Shiina was sent too the academy too spy on Nanami but befriended him and his husband Shinichirou. Shiina finds out the truth of him being a clone and accepts it. He continued his normal everyday life excelling in Chemistry and making new friends.
Shiina has a crush on Gaku Ichikawa and struggles too admit his feelings.
