Screenshot – _Images

From the guidelines (Update2!):

Note to Uploaders: Only 6 screenshot images can be uploaded per day. Anything more than that will be deleted despite their quality or the content, so please keep in mind to not flood the site with screenshot. Trying to escape this rule by not tagging the image as screenshot will result in deletion of all the screenshot the user uploaded during that session. Try again after 24 hours.

Screenshots are mostly of insufficient quality with reasonable dimension size.

If you still insist on uploading a screenshot, please follow the rules:

1. A screenshot should preferably have [wallpaper] size more than 720p with best quality that is provided. Anime produce higher than 720p naturally so anything lower wouldn't make sense unless it's an old anime. A screenshot should have a minimum size of 1920x1080 px (source: 1080p), so only BluRay release as source is permitted. (Update 2022) Enlarging is forbidden!

2. A screenshot should depict at least 1 character. For public scene with more character is also tolerated.

3. A screenshot should be clean (no subtitles, no credits, no clock, no broadcast logo).

4. Stitched screenshots don't have blank spots

5. Screenshots must be tagged as exactly that to not cause confusion for fanarts, etc..

6. Screenshots from Video Games are ok but if they have low quality (Compression Artifacts, Blurry, etc) will be deleted.

7. The screenshots published must not have been uspcale.

Please note that crunchyroll and similar platforms stream ongoing anime in 1080p recently, but screenshots using them as source are still inferior to BD releases and therefore forbidden.

[Eyecatcher] & [End Cards] aren't bound to the these rules except for the size requirements (BD source).

Screenshot should NOT be tagged with the [Wallpaper] or [Official Art] tags. This includes the different wallpaper sizes.
