A timid boy who is at a loss of what to do with himself after being turned human. His goal is to resurrect his author since his author can tell him what to do best.
He appears to have forgotten his life as a puppet whereas his talking, mean-spirited staff has all his puppet features. His staff causes him more harm than good but Pinocchio chose to keep it anyways since he can depend on it. Pinocchio also carries a well-hidden malevolent streak caused by personality issues.
In the real world: Pinocchio is a young boy who was raised as a girl by his abusive mother, who he loves and is dependent on. After word gets out through a dox, a social worker arrives to pick him up. Not wanting to separate from his mother and blaming himself, he commits suicide and is reborn as Pinocchio in Library.
