Yuki Nagato is the bibliophile and silent bookworm of the S.O.S. Brigade. Initially portrayed to be as an introverted and taciturn bibliophile, Yuki later reveals herself to Kyon as an alien created by the all-powerful Data Overmind. She was sent to North High to watch over Haruhi knowing full well her true abilities. She possesses an innate ability to manipulate her surrounding environment or “data” as quoted by her. As a humanoid interface created by the Data Overmind, Nagato has superhuman strength, unnerving agility and boundless stamina and even appears to be somewhat immune to pain.
