General Information:

My Little Pony is set in the fictional Ponyland, a mystical paradise that is home to all kinds of magical creatures, sentient or non-sentient beings.
The so-called Little Ponies make their home in the Paradise Estate, living luxurious and care-free lives filled with song, games and laughter.
But on the other side of the paradise, the not-so-peaceful beings like witches, trolls and goblins call it home.
The Little Ponies oftentimes find themselves fighting against other sentient beings that would do just about anything to destroy their peaceful lives.
And thus begins their tumultuous life carrying on with their daily life all the while keeping the peace in Ponyland.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a children’s animated television series by Hasbro Studios.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is based on the original series My Little Pony by Bonnie Zacherie, who also is famous for her works on Nerfuls.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the fourth generation of the My Littly Pony franchise following its earlier versions back in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Plot:

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is set in the fictional land of Equestria, a wonderful paradise populated by varieties of ponies along with several other sentient and non-sentient creatures.
After the recent discovery of the mysterious power and magic of friendship, Twilight Sparkle, a seemingly average unicorn mare, is sent by Princess Celestia to the town of Ponyville to study it.
She initially resents this after hearing rumors that Nightmare Moon has been coming in and out of Ponyville terrorizing its citizens.
Just like it was rumored, Nightmare Moon did appear before Twilight and vows to plunge the entire land of Equestria in everlasting night.
Nightmare Moon disappears along with Princess Celestia, the ruler of Equestria.
Determined to rescue Princess Celestia, Twilight sets of on a journey with five other ponies: Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity.
Twilight and her new friends must search for the Elements of Harmony and defeat Nightmare Moon before it’s too late.
