Rinnosuke Mitobe is the acting center for the Seirin Team while Kiyoshi is on rehab after a leg injury. Portrayed as the rather quiet and reserved member of the team, he is an accomplished defensive player in his own right. He manages to defend the area under the basket against much taller opponents. It was later revealed that he also manages to be part of the offense as an accomplished hook shooter.
