Makise Kurisu is an extremely intelligent neuroscience researcher and is only 18 years only. She’s the main female protagonist of the Steins Gate series and her survival is the key to saving the world. She is lab member number 004 and is called “Christina” by Rintarou.

Kurisu doesn’t act like people of her age. She’s more refined, mature and rational when dealing with people and situations. She is very tsundere and this is pointed out by Daru and Rintarou on several occasions. She doesn’t enjoy Rintarou’s nonsensical babbling but is drawn in by the results of their experiments.

As time goes on, Kurisu develops feelings for Rintarou but is hesitant to reveal anything because of his immaturity and is annoyed by silly nicknames she’s given like “The Zombie”, “Christina”, and “Celeb-17”. Like Rintarou, she loves Dr. Pepper.

Kurisu is a very attractive young woman with a small waist and wide hips. Her figure slender and she has a regular-sized bust. Most of the time, she has red, elbow-length, hair and gorgeous, light-blue eyes. Her hair color changes in different artworks ranging from blood-red to auburn.

Kurisu’s outfit is a mix of casual and classy. She wears a white, long sleeved, collared shirt that clings onto her figure and tucks it into a pair of black shorts and wears a pair of black stockings underneath. She has a white belt with a gold-yellow buckle, a red tie under her shirt’s collar and khaki jacket that is sometimes worn properly or hangs off her shoulders by two leather straps on her arms. She also has a pair of high-cut, black boots which are unzipped and folded.

She also wears a lab coat which was given to her by Rintarou which she wears in the lab. It’s assumed she takes off her khaki jacket when wearing the lab coat.
