General Information:

Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai (Japanese: 真剣で私に恋しなさい lit. Love Me, Seriously) was originally developed as an adult visual novel by Minato Soft with themes around comedy, sentai, romance, harem and action.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai was released for the PC back in 2009 and was later ported for the PlayStation 3 due to popular demand.
The manga adaptation of Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai was published and serialized in the Comp Ace magazine since May 2010.


Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai was later adapted for an anime television series by Lerche Studios and directed by Keitaro Motonaga.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai was written by Katsuhiko Takayama and produced by Ryosuke Nakanishi.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai was later licensed by Sentai Filmworks and MVM Films and retitled under its name “Majikoi – Oh! Samurai Girls”.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai premiered on October 2011 on AT-X, Tokyo MX and the Anime Network.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai ended on December 2011 with 12 fun-filled and action-packed episodes.

Plot:

It’s one thing to honor your ancestors and keeping old traditions alive, but there is such a thing as too much of something isn’t good enough.
Having said all that, Kawakami City is known for its rather strong dedication to its samurai heritage and its long lost ancestors.
At Kawakami City, having a samurai ancestor and an enormous “fighting spirit” akin to that ancestor plays a huge part of how people end up being ranked on the social totem pole, especially at school.


The highly intelligent Yamato Naoe has learned to deal with his situation by forming his very own group, tackling every situation that comes their way.
They all have known each other since they were kids and have been inseparable since.
While they do have other friends aside from each other, this group of seven is a close-knit, inseparable group.
They have done everything there is to do and even have a secret base where they meet up.
With the upcoming new semester, the group welcomes two more additions to the group.
The delicate sexual balance of the group (having three girls and four boys) seemed fine at first, but the addition of two MORE girls will surely send everything spinning out of control.


Characters:

Yamato Naoe is the highly intelligent tactician of the group. He is oftentimes seen thinking up of ways of making money or beating his opponents with trickery. His well-thought tactics has earned him the respect and admiration from other people, especially his friends.


Momoyo Kawakami is the oldest member in the group. She is mostly challenged by fighters from around the world searching for recognition and fame. Although quite the beauty herself, most men are intimidated to even talk to her.
