General Information:

Koihime Muso (Japanese: 恋姫†無双 lit. Love Princess Unmatched) is originally an adult visual novel and eroge game by Baseson and Yeti Studios. It is based on the classic Chinese novel, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms with themes of drama, historical, romance, action and even harem.
Koihime Muso has made several transitions to several other media including the manga adaptation illustrated by Yayoi Hizuki which was serialized in ASCII Media Work’s Dengeki G’s Festival Comic.

Koihime Muso received an order for an anime television series produced by Dogakobo Studios and directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi. Shin Koihime Muso premiered on July 2008 and ended later that year on September with 12 episodes.

Plot:
"Koihime Muso is set in ancient China during and after the fall of the Han Dynasty.
After having lost her entire family to a band of thieves and bandits during a night raid, Kan’u Uncho has promised herself that she will not let others feel the pain she felt when she lost her family.

Since then, she has made it her personal quest to ensure that innocent people will never suffer like she did.

Over time, she has earned herself a reputation as the feared Beautiful Black-Haired Bandit Hunter who wields a Green Dragon Crescent Blade.
On her journey of ridding bandits, she comes across others, who just like her, wishes to join her cause.

One of these girls is Rinrin, who like Kan’u, shared a similar past having lost her parents to bandits."

General Information:

The second season of Koihime Musou by Dogakobo Studios started broadcasting on October 2009.
Shin Koihime Musou was directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi and aired on Tokyo MX, AT-X, TV Saitama, Chiba TV and Anime Network.
Shin Koihime Musou ended on December 2009 with 12 action-packed and fun-filled adventure episodes.

A third season of Koihime Musou was in the works together with Director Nobuaki Nakanishi and Dogakobo Studios.
Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Tairan aired on Tokyo MX, Chiba TV, AT-X and Anime Network on April 2010.
Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Tairan ended later that year on June with 12 adventure-filled episodes.

Plot:

"Following the events from the first season, Kan’u and Chouhi’s group rescues a mysterious girl who turns out to be the real Ryuubi.
It was later revealed that both her identity and her sword were stolen from her. In hopes to reclaiming back her lost identity, the group sets out to look for Ryuubi’s sword.
At around the same time, the three Chou sisters, a highly talented group of street performers, find themselves in possession of a mysterious magic book which carries with it some of the darkest secrets.
The Chou sisters soon realize that they might be way in over their heads with the curse of the magic book: The Crucial Ways to the Key of Peace."
