Killua is a member of the famous Zoldyck family of legendary assassins.
He appears at the very beginning of the series.
He was trained to be an assassin and was very skilled from the beginning.
Not wanting to be an assassin he escaped from hope to join the Hunter Exam,
where he met Gon, with which became best friends. Killua is the same age as Gon
when he joins the hunter exam, 12 years old. Even though he wanted to escape from
his past, he sometimes becomes deadly and bloodthirsty, reminding him he is an assassin.
Besides that, he is always chased by this brother Illumi who inflicts fear with the intention
to kill Killua. After the hunter exam he finds his nen ability and tries to improve it through
time, trying to develop new techniques. From time to time he is helped by his family. Even though
he escaped he is supported sometimes by his father in the family, which are sometimes a key to
their missions.
As for his apparence he has spiky silver hair, very light skin and blue eyes. His eyes change with his
mood. His personality seems sometimes similar to Gon, but he is very different, including his perception.
Besides his perception, he is very quick in analysing situations, and a real strategist.
Killua's abilities are due to the hard training from the age of three and to the vast tortures he has
gone through during this training.
Notes:
In the old series, Killua was voice acted by Mitsuhashi Kanako. As for the 2011 anime reboot
he was voice acted by Ise Mariya.
