Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Fujiwara Hiro Images

Kaichou wa Maid-sama begun as a manga series created by Hiro Fujiwara and was published by Hakusensha starting December 2005 and ended September 2013 in LaLa magazine. An anime adaptation was directed by Horaki Sakurai and written by Hiro Fujiwara under J.C.Staff studio. It aired starting April 2, 2010 and ended September 23, 2010 on TBS, BS-TBS and Animax Asia.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama Plot

Seika High was once an all-boys school known to be full of reckless students. Now that it is a co-ed school, the female population is still at the minority even after several years. Misaki, the first female student council president, took it into her heands to change the school to give the female students a female friendly environment and rehabilitating the boys to behave like gentlemen in front of the girls. But because of her bossy and usually head-strong approach to disciplining the boys, she became known as demon dictator among the male student population. Misaki does have a secret; she works part-time in a maid cafe in a neighborhood far from her school. She was very careful not to reveal this secret until one day, the school's most popular male student, Usui, bumped into her when she was throwing out the trash in her maid costume. Usui has just stumbled upon her secret!

Kaichou wa Maid-sama Characters

Ayuzawa Misaki - She is the first female student council president who aims to reform the former all-boys school, Seika High. She bosses the misbehaving boys into behaving like a model student, much to the displeasure of the majority of the male student body. Despite this, she treats the boys very fair and even willing to help out who needs it. Her hatred to men stems out from her father leaving her family in huge debt. She works part-time as a maid in a maid cafe so that her sickly mother doesn’t need to work too much to support her and her sister.

Usui Takumi - He is the most popular boy in Seika high. He takes little interest in anything and the boys sometimes use him to get through Misaki. Despite his seemingly apathetic personality, he is very talented and is usually rank second in grades. His interest in Misaki was sparked because she works hard and stands apart from everyone else. He usually tease Misaki to see her funny expressions and as a way to show his feelings. Usui was the first one in their school to know that Misaki is working as a maid for a maid cafe.
