General Information

Houkai 3rd (Honkai Impact 3rd in english) is the third title in the Houkai series and an action RPG game with gacha elements. It originally released in October 2016, followed by a release in Southeast Asia (SEA) with english language support in November 2017. A global version was released in 2018.

The game is set in an alternate futuristic world and the characters from previous games in the series have a different background adjusted to this setting.

As a player, you control the so-called Valkyries Kiana Kaslana, Raiden Mei, Bronya Zaychik & Murata Himeko and fight against the Honkai. Valkyries have different battlesuits with individual fighting styles which can be obtained in gacha.

The game is regularly updated with new expansions which usually introduce new battlesuits besides all sorts of new features like new stories, characters or modes.

"A Post-Honkai Odyssey" is introduced with Ver. 3.8 of the game. This new open world addition is set 8 years after the ongoing main storyline and features new characters (with an older Mei returning) and an overhauled battle system inspired by games like Devil May Cry or Nier: Automata at first glance.
