Yosuke Hanamura is the clumsy and somewhat irritable transfer student of Yasogami High School who arrived six months before Yu did. He became depressed after the death of Saki Konishi, the object of his affections. He can oftentimes get impulsive without thinking things through. Despite his rather comedic and laidback personality, Yosuke happens to have a great insight when it comes to deducing and can become very serious when the situation calls for it. His Persona is Jiraiya, a red-scarved ninja with shuriken-looking eyes. After Yosuke accepts Saki’s death, Jiraiya evolved into Susano-o, a humanoid wearing a blue jumpsuit surrounded by a large sawblade with flames rising over its head. His arcana is The Magician.
