Plot:
During a summer festival five years ago, two seemingly average girls met for the first time after they each followed glowing ** which flew towards the Sky Tree, a humongous tree atop a mountain in their town.
Saki Hyuuga and Mai Misho are later reunited at the place they first met to become the legendary warriors Pretty Cure.
Flappy and Choppy, the seemingly odd glowing ball they followed when they were kids, were actually spirits from the Land of Fountains.
Saki and Mai are chosen by fate to protect the so-called Fountain of the Sun, the last of the Seven Fountains from the Dark Fall which have overrun the Land of Fountains.
With powers they obtained from Flappy and Choppy, Saki and Mai transforms into Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, respectively.
It is now in the hands of Saki and Mai to restore the Seven Fountains and save the Land of Fountains from Dark Fall before they get their hands on the last fountain said to be hidden on Earth.
Together, Mai and Saki are the new Pretty Cures and the fate of the rest of the world rests on their hands.
Characters:
Saki Hyuuga is the cheerful and athletic ace pitcher of the girls’ softball team of Yuunagi Middle School. Although skilled in sports, Saki isn’t too bright when it comes to school or studying.
