Fire Emblem 1: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi

Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi (ファイアーエムブレム　暗黒竜と光の剣 Faiā Emuburemu Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi?, literally Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light) is the first game in the Fire Emblem tactical role-playing game series developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It was first released on the Family Computer (known internationally as the Nintendo Entertainment System) on November 20, 1990.

It stars Marth, a character who later became better known for his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Plot:
"Marth is prince of Altea and a direct descendant of Anri, the warrior who slew the shadow dragon Medeus. However, after an attack from the neighboring kingdom of Dolhr, Marth is forced to become an exile in the neighboring nation of Talis. His sister Ellis is taken hostage after his father is killed battling the evil priest Gharnef. With the help of the Altean knight Jeigan, the Talisian Princess Shiida, and others, Marth embarks on a quest to find the sacred sword known as Falchion and the Fire Emblem that will allow him to wield it. Only then will he be able to confront Gharnef and the resurrected Medeus, win the kingdom of Altea back, and rescue his sister."

Fire Emblem 3: Monshō no Nazo

Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo (ファイアーエムブレム　紋章の謎 Faiā Emuburemu: Monshō no Nazo?, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem) is a Japanese tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on January 21, 1994. It was the first Fire Emblem title for the Nintendo Super Famicom and the first twenty-four-megabit cartridge for the system.

The game is divided into two distinct parts, or books. Book One is a remake of the first game 'Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken', and Book Two is a new story and continuation of the events, following the same characters.

In 1996 KSS released an anime OVA, Fire Emblem, based on Monshō no Nazo.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, known in Japan as Fire Emblem: Shin Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken (ファイアーエムブレム　新・暗黒竜と光の剣?, literally Fire Emblem: New Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light), is a tactical role-playing game and 2nd remake of the first Fire Emblem video game, 'Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken', developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the eleventh installment in the Fire Emblem series, first for the Nintendo DS and first to feature online play.

The game offers a graphical enhancement from Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Ken as well as utilising the dual screens, touch screen controls and online capabilities of the Nintendo DS. Characters and chapters that were not present in the original or were omitted for Monshō no Nazo have been introduced in this version.

Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo: Hikari to Kage no Eiyū (ファイアーエムブレム 新・紋章の謎 ～光と影の英雄～ Faiā Emuburemu Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~?, literally Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow), is a tactical role-playing remake of 'Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo', developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the twelfth entry to the Fire Emblem series and the second Fire Emblem remake for the Nintendo DS.

The game also contains a version of BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Senki in its Extra Mode.

The game stars Marth, the hero of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the original Monshō no Nazo as he fights in a conflict known as the "War of Heroes". He is accompanied by his trusted friend, an Altean knight and unsung hero of the war, referred to as the "Hero of Shadow". The player can customize this new character, such as choosing their name, gender, facial appearance and starting class. New prologue and sidestory chapters heavily feature the new character and offer chances to recruit new and previously unobtainable characters.

Plot:
"One year has passed since the War of Shadows (the conflict featured in Shadow Dragon) ended. The Dollhrian Empire, led by the fearsome Shadow Dragon Medeus, was toppled thanks to the combined efforts of Prince Marth of Altea and Duke Hardin of Aurelis. A youth visits Altea castle, hoping to become one of Marth's trusted knights. This youth would one day become the titular "Hero of Shadow", Marth's trusted ally who supports him from the shadows.

Another year later, Marth receives an imperial order from Hardin, now emperor of the newly established holy kingdom of Akaneia. He is to suppress a rebellion that broke out in the kingdom of Grust, which is occupied by Akaneia. Although Marth has his doubts about this order, he has no choice but to fulfill his oath to Akaneia and leaves Altea on an expedition."
