General Information

"Fate/Prototype" is the prototype version of Kinoko Nasu's Fate/stay night that he developed as a novel in high school before completely redesigning it as a visual novel. The characters appear in the character material books by Type-Moon.

It was adapted as a twelve minute anime segment within Carnival Phantasm Season 3, and included the "Prototype Material" databook.

A comedy Fate/Prototype Drama CD was included in the Comptiq December 2012 issue.
