Dio Brando is the low-born boy who was adopted into the Joestar houselhold when his parents died. Filled with greed, he intended to inherit the Joestar household including the mysterious stone mask, a legendary artifact said to possess incredible powers. He used the stone mask to turn himself into a vampire. Although defeated and sealed away by Jonathan 50 years ago, he finds himself trapped and possessing the body of Jonathan Joestar.
