Demotivational Poster Images

Demotivational poster (demotivator, demotivating poster, demotivating picture, demotivational picture) is an image that consists of a picture in a black frame and a caption. Demotivator pictures are a good source of humour on the internet. They are the opposite of motivational posters and are designed to discourage and demotivate. They often contain pessimistic or mocking captions. A demotivator consists of a picture usually of comedy value being situated as a central point in an image. The central image also has a thick black border around it usually making up around 20 to 40 percent of the picture size. Below the central image there is an amusing text caption related to the image in the middle of the demotivator written in a bold white font. The caption is often does not depict the true nature of what is going on in the picture giving a humorously misleading appearance to the picture.

Rules for uploading Demotivationals:
1. Don't spam with DP uploads. Maximum five a day.
2. The image used has to be anime. Collages of anime and non-anime images will be deleted.
3. Demotivational posters should be written correctly. However, some memes used in the demotivationals don't have to be 100% correct.
4. Demotivational posters should be tagged as that. Not tagging is a reason for removal.
5. Watermarks from other websites are not allowed.

If the rules are broken either the respective user will be restricted (case of rule 1) or the demotivational poster will be deleted (case of 2 & 3). If you see any errors with demotivationals, please report them using the Report option.
