Cloud Strife is a main protagonist in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, appearing as the main protagonist in both Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He also appears in the spin-off games Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- as a supporting character.

An arrogant and proud swordsman at first, believing himself to be a member of an elite warrior unit called SOLDIER, Cloud discovers that the memories of who he was were not his own and, with the help of his friends, learns that there is more to being a hero than possessing physical strength and fame.

Dissidia

Cloud is an excellent soldier who was given Jenova Cells. This and the fact that he absolutely hates Sephiroth, made him easy to be manipulated by Sephiroth. He eventually broke free and made it his goal to destroy Sephiroth and everything he stands for at any cost. He used to fight on the side of Cosmos but was then summoned by Chaos in the Dissidia 012.
