Ciel Phantomhive is the young earl of the Phantomhive Household and currently the head of Funtom Company, known for manufacturing toys and sweets. Portrayed as egotistical and business-savy, Ciel oftentimes come off as arrogant and proud as he is accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle. As the sole surviving heir of a noble family, Ciel is now working for Queen Victoria, the Queen of England, tasked with eliminating criminals and solving cases in the underworld which he was later dubbed as the “Queen’s Watchdog”. His right eye, usually covered by an eye patch, bears a demonic pentagram which served as a sign of the Faustian contract he made with the demon butler, Sebastian Michaelis. He offered his soul in exchange for the chance to exact revenge on the people who wronged him especially the ones who murdered his parents several years ago.
