Ever since her cadet days, Flying Officer Anabuki was an Army ace highly regarded for her good flying sense and skill with a sword. She showed an especially impressive display of skill during the “Fuso Sea Incident” in 1937, when several Neuroi craft invaded from the skies above the Fuso sea.

The propaganda film “Flash in the Fuso Sea” was produced half a year later. Flying Officer Anabuki starred as herself in the film, and she became a star in the eyes of the people.

One of the most famous Witches in Fuso, she is particularly popular with other women and girls, and the Fuso doll that Anabuki modeled for is a much-adored present for adolescent girls.
