    That's how Himaruya portrayed him, well, if Hetalia features stereotypes and funny quirks of countries, then Poland's really out of place (maybe except for his air-head, slight egoism and palushki's obssession). Poles mostly disagree with Poland as cross-dresser, yes Poland's catholic country, yes it's tolerant (well, tries to be - truthfully, there's a problem with that), but it's not known (in the world) of man dressing in pink dresses or riding ponies.

    Prob, it's just because they find blonde locks and green eyes cute ---> everything cute can be nicely fit into a dress. And Scotsmen in their kilts are just too dangerous to meddle with ^^
