As already mentioned, in the original picture, you can see Chrome sleeping there. Which is too bad since KHR! has many opportunities - with no need to change the original. The way this Demotivational Poster is right now, it already lost its purpose. (I don't know about the Naruto part, though.)

Actually Akira Amano did say in an interview that she did like a shounen ai couple in her series. But she didn't say which (obviously to avoid the wrath of some fangirls).

I actually heard some rumors that Akira Amano had made a doujinshi/drew something for her friend and it was shounen ai. (5927) .-.; But I'm not sure though,lol.

I think I know what you mean. Somebody said (on lj, I think) - in short - that Amano likes shonenai (or yaoi, whatever...) when it involves a guy who adores another and is greatly fascinated by him etc. I can't retell it in the same way, but it sounded like Gokudera's adoration for Sawada. The same person also stated that Amano intended to end KHR! with two male x male couples.
But.
It seems like none of the Japanese fans ever heard of it, so, in the end, everyone believes this is a fake translation.
Still, I don't think this is a reason to give up on canon male x male couples in KHR!. Amano might not show explicit shonenai scenes, but just because average shonen series don't have male x male couples doesn't mean that Amano won't put them in. (Just look at Lussuria!) Same goes for female x female, but I didn't see any hint for that up until now... The world of KHR! is hers, and so is the storyline etc. her decision (there's still her editor, though XD). Honestly, why not? -

Not really the best motivational poster if you have to edit Chrome into Tsuna to make this point, is it? Which is weird, because there are plenty of decent, real scenes where you can read slash subtext. Not much point in trying to edit the actual content.

What's funny about the KHR! picture, is that there is a Ten Years Later section of the manga, that Akira Amano wrote because she was getting a lot of questions about everyone's backstories as to what they were doing in the ten years later. This manga is actually nothing like the story, which is why it is a "sub-story" i suppose. The reason I say this is because of the fact that it is actually a Mature manga with murder and sexual implications, hence why it didn't fit in the true story.
Tsuna is married to Kyoko and has a kid, Mukuro's with Chrome, Gokudera is with Haru, Yamamoto is with a newly created character for a new family called the Novakov Girls. Xanxus is married to the Novakov leader, Mari, and is having a son with her, Squalo has a girlfriend, Bel has a girlfriend, Hibari has a girlfriend, Lambo is with I-pin, they all have girlfriends. None of them are gay.
I know about this because my friend is reading it, though she needs to translate from Japanese to English before she can. Her cousin found it Japan and didn't know what it was because the title was just TYL. It is too mature to be another volume of the main series, so this is just to fill in the back stories, but it is still canon. -
if u watch anime enough to realize it's NOT even a hint for yaoi/shounin-ai... then u wont think that it's gay or close to...so don't sweat it
