In retrospect this could've been considered a spoiler if you haven't played Dark Fate.

I hate EVERY Diabolik Lover's male character. EVERY. And I didn't even bother watching second season, I hate these dudes without even watching it.
And the fact girls think they are the perfect boyfriends, soulmates or whatever pains me.
I just want to rip out their intestines.

^ It's not just them though, I just hate the concept of otome game/series in general specifically for the way the female heroines are portrayed. They're all the same: shy, docile, stupid, insipid with no personality. And girls are supposed to self-insert with this kind of degrading stereotype of female character? I don't know about others, but if I had to self-insert with someone, I'd do it with a kickass and mischievous sassy queen, not some random Hinata Hyuuga. I honestly don't get how so many women could be into this kind of garbage tbh xD

^Agreed,so much. I felt bad for Yui tbh, she was betrayed by the person she trusted the most, but that doesn't really defend the fact she is a bland character with so little self-respect, always doing whatever they want her to do. Pretty much all otome heroines, yeah.
    , I don't know what is.
As if woman can't survive without a man, that's how they are portrayed in anime.

^ Damn right. I watched La storia della arcana famiglia a bunch of years ago so I can't remember the plot in details but if I am correct she's the heiress of a mafia family who does take part to the tournament that should decide who her future husband is gonna be because she wants to gain possession of her life and freedom. I can't remember whether she wins the tournament or not but in the end she manages to win her freedom and becomes the head of her family. Of course I'm not saying a woman can't have both love and personal ambitions at the same time, but in a sexist world (in and outside fictional material) where women too often are forced to or willingly give up on said ambitions in order to take care of their kids and husbands, this is a nice change. That was the only otome series I truly enjoyed, the rest is garbage and so are women who support sexist material.

^ Damn I agree with you all, Felicita is the first otome heroine that I like I guess
