I feel like Kishi should've made Hinata hold Neji in her arms, not Naruto. I felt that Hinata had more history with Neji than Naruto.

i can just imagine myself being a mess when this comes in the anime TT^TT -
well naruto and neji did have a history, a history that made neji respect hinata more. it was naruto who helped neji out of the darkness, and to treat his family with love and protection. so it was a symbol for neji to fall into naruto's arms and hinata running to him. naruto was a brother to him. so thats why neji fell into his arms instead of hers.

Actually, I think it was because Naruto got there first but the emotional value is overwhelming. He died to save both Naruto and Hinata in almost the exact same way that Minato and Kushina died to save Naruto! Its beyond touching and should be admired!! //(TT^TT)//

I ship NejiHina but no, Neji definitely died in the right arms. Naruto cared about Neji more than Hinata ever did, sadly. (Had Naruto died at that moment instead, Hinata would've broken down and Neji would've had to try to make her snap out of it. But of course, it wouldn't have worked... Actually, Neji would've probably shut down as well. Both idolize Naruto after all.)
