When I first met whit hetalia I didn't even know the anime or the comic , all the thing I could see from this was just the fanarts . And what you can see on fanarts ? AustriaXHungary the perfect lovey-dovey couple : totally empty and totally boring , and come on who the hell said to Himaruya that hungarians loved the Austrians ? It's totally weird !! O .o
And after that look at the PrussiaX Hungary pairing : love hate realitionship whit an awesome guy !However the only historical thing I could remembered was the Austria vs. Prussia war ( you know the "vitam et sangvinem" stuff whit Maritheres)...
And after the pictures I watched the anime and read the manga I was getting like better the AusHun pairing 'cos they're the cold girly and the warmharted manly pairing but...my really OTP is still PruHun , because they have past some angst if you want and a really interesting realitionship !! That's why I love them the best !!

It's so cliche and annoying (I especially can't stand UK because people make him act like a whiny 'bitch' most of the time, thing that people call 'tsundere' and the worse part is that they make him even girlier in fanart, which is disgusting, because he's MALE XP).
They also resemble so much, it's like watching incest. Seriously, I even stand seeing Prussia x Germany more than this.
Actually, I believe Prussia is best alone. He doesn't seem the type to be comitted to anyone and THAT makes him so awesome. -

Clothes, expressions, colors, composition are perfect. I only miss some better background.
Personally, I think this pic is in some way an essence of Pruhun.
Prussia is lonely, he better works alone, should be alone, but also required love as all feeling creatures. BUT in this pic he looks rejected, he needs and wants Hungary (he has a crush on her) but they can't be together. Maybe because she doesn't love him, because his annoying, cuse she has Austria or because something else. So he is rejected. He is kneeling. The way he is looking at her, holding her dress so tight.
And she knows that. She is sorry for him, she's touching his face, her lips pressed.
She will go and he will left alone, as it should be.
Can you smell the drama in the air?
Thats why I like this paring so much. This is so bittersweet and without happy ending. -

Tbh I didn’t expect a fanart of my favorite anime to be first on Zerochan, I was just curious to see the top ones and, PruHun... woah, totally stunning.
I’m going to be honest I am more inclined to the yaoi pairing but I also love the het and yuri ones, this one is no exception, they make a great couple and they do seem to have a lot of dynamic between them, it’s really beautiful because it is possible to see a lot of ways of them to express to each other, it’s simply art. -
