I really love this picture but if there was A-Drei in Shouko's place it was even more perfect!!!

^ Meh, there's already too much official arts of the hitler youth it's somewhat annoying. Let the ladies shine, even for a little. Besides she looks pretty here You really have a problem with Shoko

@dude I've already said you that I have nothing against Shouko in particular, it's just the typology of character that bothers me, there are tons of female characters like her, she has nothing original to offer.

^ I don't know many girls who pilot giant robots and are idols and immortal vampires at the same time. Girls like Shouko instead are always the same: cute, lovely, energic, optimistic, kind, in love with the main character and with a lot of people who admires her and sometimes see her as a good leader (in fact she becomes the prime minister)... The typical Mary Sue. Shouko, Shirley, Kukuri, etc... It's like a copy&past from character to character.

^ So by your standards, L-elf is a gary-sue too?
Shoko is NOT a mary sue. She made a blunder when talking about Akira to others, and was hesitant when they took her father hostage, which shows that she isn't at the stage of becoming a good leader yet. This show is about the main characters growing up: L-elf and Saki grew up too early, Haruto is slowly entering adulthood (Protecting the module and taking responsibility), only Shoko is behind, still too innocent and naive, and with the massacre plus her father's death, she'll find that to survive in this world of adults, she'll have to become one too (that or she dies), I think she's more like Relena Peacecraft from Gundam Wing (what did Shirley do in CG again? nothing)

] XD (how did we end up discussing this again anyway, it's not like it will lead somewhere)

I don't like the brown haired girl, what can I do, I cannot help it...found her annoying since I saw her! I'm tired of clumsy, boyish, annoying girl...getting everything in anime and manga!

^ I agree with you, those kind of female characters are kinda annoying. Saki was much better than Shouko.
