Hey, can anyone tell me what the japanese writing means?

  • ewwshushan

The first one says water > flames.

Not quite sure what the second panel says, but from what I can read, I get the vague sense that they are not happy that the "water people" see themselves as better than the "firey" people...lol XD. The first big white character identifies the characters as "flame," and the other ones say "namenna~" which literally means don't lick (us), but if my cultural Japanese is correct, means something more along the lines of "don't f*** with us."

I don't know the names of the characters yet, so I'll just translate what I can right to left for the bottom panel.
    "These donuts are really tasty~"
"Wow, they're really amazing! Did Crystal make them?" (Not sure if I'm reading the kanji right...)
"Yup! I thought everyone would eat, so I made a lot."

I totally canNOT read what the little kid is saying. Something like
"heaven :another kanji: I can't read, is also good outside eat. (lolwut)
    That's really good!
Well, :something about peace?: is also not coming,
    tree-->:more kanji I can't read...:is good!
    Ah hah hah!"

    Sorry, I tried my best...

The second panel is about the fire type users getting angry and shouting out fire type attacks while green is trying to hold them back.oh yeah.. namenna means dont belittle us i think.

the cute green little chibi is saying that since the weather is great they should eat outside

Yeah, I do wonder what Yellow is doing. O_O She's often left behind. I'll go in the fire team, thank you very much.

NEVER MESS WITH THE EASILY-TEMPERED, VIOLENT FIRE-TEAM.

My ribs hurt from laughing too much. It's funny because the Water group really does antagonize each of their Fire counterparts in the manga, so the accuracy is dead-on.

But still, that reaction… Oh my God, guys.
