  "Have you been...avoiding me, Tetsuya?" Akashi said slowly, his duel colored eyes betraying nothing.
  
  "..." Kuroko looked slightly down.
  
  He couldn't look into his captain's piercing eyes as his heart thudded in his chest. Yet his own face stayed blank. Finally Kuroko spoke.
  
  "...No, Captain." His voice was still monotone but oh so soft.
  
  Akashi furrowed his eyebrows just slightly and raised his hand. He let his fingertips brush Kuroko's chin, the gentle action belittled by the intensity of his gaze.
  
  "Don't lie to me Tetsuya...You know what I will do to liars." Akashi's eyes burned into Kuroko's skin as he spoke oh so slowly.
