The heck is wrong with this pic!?! France ain't smart ENOUGH to make it into Ravenclaw! It should be ENGLAND or ESTONIA there! <=O And screw Romano, the guy's lazy as s*** and aren't Hufflepuffs supposed to be all hard-working, fair & gentle? He's far from it all. =_='

^ Ok, first of all, there's no sure way to say who belongs in which house, as a) they're not real, and b) neither is the sorting hat. If you think France is too stupid to be in Ravenclaw, your knowledge on French history is clearly negligible. At one point, France was the most powerful country in Europe, and is the home to Europe's oldest university. Maybe England and Estonia ARE smart, but maybe the artist wanted to draw France instead. As Romano, lazy as****? Wow, you REALLY know nothing of South Italy! The south is the agricultural heart of Italy, and agriculture isn't for the lazy. Added to that, a recent strip showed him to be working hard. Prussia, upon expressing amazement, was informed that Romano IS a hard worker, contrary to how he was in childhood. Furthermore, Helga Hufflepuff DID value those traits, but she welcomed ANYBODY into her house because she felt that everybody was worth teaching. So you know nothing of history, Hetalia, or Harry Potter. Wonderful.

^ My entire spring semester of recreational reading, anime marathons and World History summed up in one comment. Why were you not my professor, tenshi? I could have started summer way earlier.

^@tenshixxx: Thank you for your words of wisdom. I can't express how well you said what I wanted to say.

^@silvermoonlitsoul: Please don't badmouth the art. Art is an expression of oneself, and just because this is FANART, done with PREDESIGNED CHARACTERS does not make it any different. It's all the artist's idea's, opinion's, and expression's. Thanks.

I really like this art!! In my opinion, I believe it suits all of them really well, especially Spain. He does seem to be a little forgetful(reference to potion beside him) but he has a really great personality~~ Romano and Felicano are both Italy so if Felicano got in, so does his bro >:D Well, that's my reasoning at the very least. I love this picture!!

To the reasonable people in these comments, thank you!
I would also point out that even if the sorting was real it's not so black and white as having smart people in Ravenclaw, or bad people in Slytehrin, etc. Humans are too unique and there is so much to us that it could never be so simple. There are different forms of intelligence, bravery, hard work and ambition. Just because you're book smart, it doesn't mean you'll end up in Ravenclaw (Hermione, Lily Evans, etc.). Same goes for any house. Neville was cowardly but brave in his own way. When it came to his friends he would swallow his fear and face it. He was awesome with Herbology but ended in Gryffindor because that's where he belonged. Snape he was never really evil. Everyone keeps thinking that all Slytherin are bad. They have ambition. In his case he was ambitious about his feelings for Lily until the end. He gave his life to save her son and the lives of others. The sorting of the houses is not so mysterious if you stop to think for a moment why some people ended up in the houses they did. Also not so black and white that is you're good at school work you'll end up in Ravenclaw.
AND like the others said, when it comes to fan art it's up to the artist and their view on the characters they're drawing. We can always have our different opinions but should remember to be respectful... Sorry it's so long... -__-

Ooh, if Spain and Prussia swapped places, then everyone's eyes would match their houses! *random thought*

Romano worries a lot about Spain. He is friendly and gentle when he wants to. It is a little fuzzy to see because he is tsun, but he actually have a beautiful heart. And yes, he works a lot at all. That's why I think he suits very well in Hufflepuff.
