General Information:

11eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo (Japanese: -罪と罰と贖いの少女- lit. 11eyes: Sin, Damnation, and the Atonement Girl) is an adult visual novel by Lass and 5pb Studios.
11yes was originally developed as an eroge game with themes of action, fantasy, horror, tragedy and romance.
It was later ported for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Portable.
The manga adaptation of 11eyes was illustrated by Naoto Ayano and published in Kadokawa Shoten’s seinen magazine, Comp Ace.
The manga started serialization since October 2009 and is still an ongoing series with 3 volumes published thus far.

An anime adaptation of 11eyes was directed by Masami Shimoda together with Dogakobo Studios.
11eyes was later licensed by Sentai Filmworks for a North American release in the U.S.
11eyes premiered on Chiba TV which aired from October 2009 to December with 12 action-packed and fun-filled episodes.

Plot:

After overcoming the loss of his sister, Satsuki Kakeru has led an otherwise frigid life.
Although not too upfront about it, his recovery is thanks to the encouragement of his childhood friends at school.
One peculiar day at school, the sky suddenly turns dark red and the moon pitch black. Kakeru and Minase Yuka, his childhood friend, find themselves alone in a strange world with monsters roaming about.
Together, they try to uncover the mystery behind the so-called “Red Night” and why they have been sent to this strange and mysterious world.

They initially thought everything was just a dream until it happens again and the two are left in yet another dangerous situation.
Kakeru and Yuka later find several others in the same situation as theirs: Kusakabe Misuzu, the red-haired swordswoman, Tachibana Kukuri, the strange mute girl who shares an uncanny resemblance to Kakeru’s long deceased sister, Hirohara Yukiko, a lively young girl with the cold killer’s personality when she removes her glasses, and Tajima Takahisa, the mysterious pyrokineticist with a fiery temper.
In hopes of surviving this hellish world they were dragged into, all six of them band together to find a way back to their world when suddenly, six shadows appear before them calling themselves the “Black Knights” and are determined to kill Kakeru and his friends.

Characters:

Kakeru Satsuki is a 2nd year student at Kouryoukan Academy. He appears to be heterochromia (where one iris is a different color from the other) which he hides by wearing an eyepatch. It was later revealed that he actually has the mysterious Eye of Aeon, with uncanny powers of precognition.

Yuka Minase is Kakeru’s childhood friend back when they were still at the orphanage. She now attends the same high school as Kakeru. Turns out, she too has a mysterious power that can negate others’ powers called the “Phantasmagoria”. She later discover that her true powers allows her to bring out other people’s worst memories which unconsciously affect other people leaving them unable to use their own powers.
