    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like one of the latest big halls you pass through in the game. The petals made me wonder. What do they symbolize? Sometimes you see them falling out of thin air. Sometimes they already lay on the floor.

*Insert Lux Tenebras, Amnesia OST, here*

Daniel looks so incredible sad in that Picture...

Well, i guess, it may doesn't be wrong to forgive him at least a little bit, for all he has done.
It is not like he did all the evil things in the Game out of his free Will.

Those petals are from the Damascus rose (mentioned by Daniel), an important ingredient of the Amnesia potion. If you played the game before (if not, just watch some walkthrough videos), these petals often lead you to places that played big role in losing Daniel's memory (for example, when Daniel try to use the elevator but due to its malfunction he had to go to the Prison. Some petals will represent the path where you need to go).

Daniel simply wanted to forget the horrendous crimes he committed to those people in the castle (he also killed a little girl).

He wanted to forget everything and the player have to find out why he lost his memory. Quite bizarre - but it's a horror game :D
