General Information:

07 Ghost is an action, fantasy, supernatural, adventure and comedy drama manga series by Yuki Ameyima and Yukino Ichihara.
07 Ghost was published in Ichiinsha’s Montly Comic Zero Sum and later licensed by Madman Entertainment and Viz Media for a North American release.
07 Ghost was serialized on November 2005 and ended on January 2014 with 17 published volumes.
An anime television series of 07 Ghost was directed by Norihiro Takamoto together with Studio DEEN.
07 Ghost premiered on UHF stations from April to September 2009 which aired 25 action-packed episodes.

Plot:

07 Ghost is set in a gothic fantasy world with unusually different laws, warring kingdoms, belligerent gods and the existence of magic.
The Barsburg Empire is known for its prestigious Military Academy which trains elites who are able to use a special type of power called the “Zaiphon” to bring victory for the Empire.
Teito Klein was formerly a slave of the Barsburg Empire, but due to his ability to use Zaiphon powers, he is now enrolled at the Barsburg Military Academy, a promising student at that.
Teito is actually an amnesiac without prior knowledge to his previous life.
He oftentimes suffer from frightening dreams which are actually memories trying to resurface back to his consciousness.


The night before the graduation exam, he and Mikage, his one and only friend, vowed to never abandon each other.
He later uncovers that the Chief of Staff, Ayanami, shares a resembling appearance to the man who killed the familiar man in his dreams: the dethroned late king of the Raggs Kingdom who also happens to be his father.
In a fit of rage, he attacks Ayanama but is quickly brought down by one of his subordinates and sent to prison.
He manages to escape with the help of his good friend Mikage and wounds up in the 7th District Church where he is protected by its law of sanctuary.
He later uncovers he has the mystical “Eye of Mikhael”, a very powerful talisman for which his home, the Raggs Kingdom, was destroyed for.
As his memories slowly resurface and his fateful reunion with his friend catapults Teito in a quest for revenge against the Empire whilst uncovering the mystery of the 07 Ghosts that protect the Church.


Characters:

Teito Klein was formerly a combat slave of the Barsburg Empire whose solepurpose was to hunt down and kill criminals. He was later enrolled to the Military Academy after learning his inept ability to use Zaiphon, an unusually rare and mysterious power. It was later revealed that his true name is Warheit Tiashe Raggs, prince of the former Raggs Kingdom.


Frau is the perverted bishop of the 7th District Church who also happens to be a member of the 07 Ghosts named “Zehel”. He accidentally enters in a blood contract with Teito when he tries to remove his promise collar. He is able to use three commands on Teito: bind, sleep and pain.


Castor is also a bishop of the 7th District Church and also a member of the 07 Ghosts named “Fest”. Although he is generally calm and kind towards others, he does get merciless in a fight especially when his friends are in danger. He is able to use Manipulation Zaiphon, the rarest and most powerful of all Zaiphons.


Labrador is the third bishop of the 7th District Church and like others before him; he is also a member of the 07 Ghosts protecting the Church. He is usually seen tending to his plants in the garden or brewing medicine. He also uses Manipulation Zaiphon which he uses flowers and vines as weapons during combat. His real name is “Profe”.
