  • English @JapanCrazy,

The artist haven't drawn any more pages, but instead you can get a link to the fanfic, where the scene originates from:

  • English @Chi-Chan2,

One of my favourite Beatles songs..

  • English It appears Tobi has a secret fantasy about becoming a Disney princess.

  • English @Blackdawn0,

Hm, that's quite a theory, which I haven't come across before. Time will tell whether or not you are onto something.

  • English It's one of those pictures, which I've seen in countless AMV's, but never been able to find on the web, so I'm thankful that you uploaded it.

What really draws me in is how eerie, yet tranquil it feels.

  • English Translation: Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • English Translation: Thou ancient, Thou free

  • English @Kestrad , RiriKaze

There is definitely some artistic license at work here, but then again, Nordic mythology has generated very dissimilar interpretations through time; the Vikings, the Romans and many historians can for example have 3 different opinions about, how a specific God look, and what he/she represents specifically.

Still, the artist has done some research, because Týr (Iceland) loses his right hand to Fenrir (a wolf), and in the picture, Iceland’s right arm is covered by his cape, and Fenrir is running past his right side.

  • English FYI

    Denmark: Thor (God of Thunder)

    Finland: Loki (Trickster)

Iceland: Týr (God of War and Law)

    Norway: Odin (Ruler of Asgard)

    Sweden: Heimdallr (Watchman)

  • English undyingUmbrage is such a charming prude.

  • English @Overdoor,

Still, I'm glad you shared the artist's BGM, because I wasn't aware, that Jónsi existed, before now :)

  • English @Overdoor,

I really like your choice of background music. It reminds me of the Icelandic band Sigur Rós.

  • English @taerninedmimnmoty,

Yes, that is very likely. It could also be set in an alternate universe or be artistic license.

  • English It is truly marvellous. Even without the incoming collusion between the angels and the demons, the environment of Hell, Earth and Heaven is still breathtaking. I especially like the glowing formation of the angels, because it can be mistaken for a meteor from afar.

  • English @Trickster of Thieves,

Oh, Sorry about that. Thanks for correcting it.

  • English @iHetaliaFan,

You're right. It has been corrected.

  • English @Frøya,

It does sound a bit silly, but maybe they are welcoming the apocalypse with open arms?

The end of the world would probably also equal the end of countries.

And sometimes, if you have lived a long and productive life, you will begin to think of death as more of a friend than a foe. Iceland is reaching towards a skeleton, which is normally associated with death, but neither he nor Norway seems to be panicking about it.

  • English Yay for Chicago reference! A musical, which embraces murder, infidelity and skimpy outfits, would seem like her kind of thing. I'm going to have that song on my head for the rest of the day that's for sure.

    And all that jazz...

  • English The artist has named this picture "The Great Depression", which was a global historical tragedy that made millions unemployed. It all went downhill after the Wall Street Crash in 1929. (To put it shortly)

I think America is ill, because the whole country is suffering under the depression.

Edit: @ Alara, The tag The Great Depression was added after you commented, so there's no need to smack yourself ;)

  • English @ Lunar_Phoenix,

According to the artist, this is female China, but it is true, that the hairstyle is different than usual. I've added the tag Alternate Hairstyle

  • English @ Follower of Awesome!,

It's a troll from Norse Mythology. There are many different kinds of trolls and creatures in Scandinavian Folklore, but I doubt Himaruya was going for anything specific.

Norway's troll even has his own facebook page:
    http://www.facebook.com/pages/Norways-Troll-Axis-Powers-Hetalia/246375525388657

    Edit: You're Welcome :)

  • English @ StarCupcakes,

There is a link to the artist's Deviant page, if you click the first tag to the right.

A direct link to the above picture: http://jorael.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4xu4s6

You can find the individual stained glass pictures in the artist's comment.

  • English @ SeychellesxIceland,

    Translation:
