Tsukihime:
Tsukihime (月姫, lit. Moon Princess?) is a Japanese eroge doujin visual novel game created by TYPE-MOON, which was originally released in December 2000. It was adapted in 2003 into an anime series, "Shingetsutan Tsukihime", produced by J.C. Staff and Geneon, and a manga series, which has been serialized since 2004 in MediaWorks' seinen magazine Dengeki Daioh, with five bound volumes having been released so far.
Tsukihime's official subtitle states: "Blue Blue Glass Moon, Under The Crimson Air". Its fame and renown is often attributed to its comprehensive and expansive storyline and its writer Kinoko Nasu's unique style of storytelling. As well as its anime and manga adaptations, it has also spawned numerous merchandising and memorabilia franchises.
Type-Moon released Tsukihime PLUS-DISC in January 2001, a light-hearted addition to Tsukihime that featured three side-stories and assorted multimedia. In August 2001, Type-Moon produced and published a sequel to Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya (歌月十夜, Kagetsu Tohya?). In April 2003, Type-Moon released Tsuki-Bako (月箱, Tsuki-Bako? lit. Moon Box), a specially packaged three-disc set that included Tsukihime, Plus-Disc (in an expanded version) and Kagetsu Tohya, a remixed soundtrack and other assorted multimedia.
In the June 2008 issue of Tech Gian, a remake of the original visual novel was revealed to be in production. The game will feature enhanced artwork and sound, and is rumored to contain changes to the storyline including the originally discarded route for Yumizuka Satsuki. A release date has not been announced, there is no information as to whether the new version will be voiced, and TYPE-MOON still remains undecided as to whether the erotic elements of the original game will remain in the new version. The remake will be released for the PC.

Kagetsu Tohya:
Kagetsu Tohya (歌月十夜, Kagetsu Tōya?, lit. Ten Nights of the Verses and Moon) is TYPE-MOON's sequel to their earlier doujin visual novel game, Tsukihime, released in August 2001.
Kagetsu Tohya consists of "Twilight Glass Moon, Fairy Tale Princess", the long main story with many branches, and several shorter side stories that are unlocked one after another after related events in the main story have been read. Ten of these side stories are combined as "Ten Nights of Dream".

Melty Blood:
Melty Blood (メルティブラッド, Merutei Buraddo?) is a 2D fighting game series, developed by TYPE-MOON and French-Bread (known as Watanabe Seisakujo prior to 2003), and is a spin-off or alternate sequel to Tsukihime. Therefore it ignores the events from Kagetsu Tohya. It was featured at the international fighting game tournament Tougeki in 2006 and 2007.
It has also been adapted into a manga series, featuring art by Kirishima Takeru and serialized in the CompAce magazine, published 2005.
Melty Blood Re-ACT
An expansion to the original game, featuring an 'Arcade Mode' whose storyline takes place after the original Melty Blood. The expansion made numerous changes in regards to character balance and to remove many infinite-combo sequences. Also, new movesets were created for the doppelgänger characters, whereas in the original, most of these characters had nearly identical movesets to their counterparts. It also made changes to the game's mechanics and added several new characters, though only two are playable.
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza is an arcade port of Melty Blood to the NAOMI system by Ecole. It featured new characters, new gameplay mechanics and a re-organized storyline. On August 8th 2006, a port of Act Cadenza to the PlayStation 2 was released. However, it is not a completely accurate port of the arcade version, as it includes several balancing changes and revisions to gameplay.
Melty Blood: Actress Again
Actress Again is the first game of the series (since Re-ACT, at least) which can be considered a sequel rather than an expansion or port of a previous game. It is an arcade game, and was released in September, 2008. It features many drastic new mechanics, and has three versions of each character.
