Son Goku (悟空, Son Goku?) Is a fictional character from the manga and anime Dragon Ball created by Akira Toriyama. At first Goku appears as a young martial artist with superhuman strength glue and later in the history reveals that it is a fictional extraterrestrial race Saiyan and that his real name is Kakarot. Its name comes from Sun Wukong, a character from Chinese history Journey to the West, and his name Saiyajin, Kakarot (カカロット, 'Kakarot'?), Comes from a deformation of English Carrot (キャロット, Kyarotto?, Carrot).
