@Gokusuna actually they have said it. When Amaimon first appeared on that building with Mephisto, they called Rin their brother. And also in episode ten, Amaimon called Rin his brother.

That's why I said implications. They havent made it official. Until they actually say their satan's spawn, then i'll agree. :P

@SnowxDust I am pretty sure that the only reason why Mephisto and Amaimon called Rin their "brother" is because he is a half demon like them. I don't think that Satan is also their father though. If he was, don't you think they'd have blue flames as well? And don't you think that Mephisto would not be where he is if he was a son of satan? I mean, it's obvious he's half demon, I just don't believe that his demon part comes from Satan.

@Kira-senpai Nah, they've been making it pretty clear that Mephy and Amaimon are Satans sons too. Very clear, actually. In fact... it should just kinda be common knowledge with in the fandom. XD Keep in mind Yukio doesn't have the flames either (Disregarding the anime canon...>.> ) The thing that makes Rin so special is, as was stated, he's the only one of satans sons to inherit all his power, blue flames included.

@Kira-senpai Ah, you make some good points :P Also, Mephisto is super strong, so I don't see why Satan wouldn't wanna use him as his vessel ( Besides the fact that he has no flames.)
@katsy0c0 In what way did they make it very clear and obvious? I know they have the 'brother' thing and Mephisto does say that he is over 100 years old, but I still feel like he's a different type of demon, 'cause Satan shows no interest in his son, who is very strong, besides not having flames... Also, does Yukio really only get flames in the anime, and not in the manga? O.o -
@RamenSidders I really think they're trying to make a point there, with the whole Brother/Father thing. And it's not like he can use Mephisto to get into Assiah, unlike Rin. Seeing as it's confirmed that Amaimon is possessing someone himself, it's safe to assume that Mephistop is too, so yeah, can't use him. And it's never said they're half-demons. We'll just have to see, I guess! Until then, I truly believe they're brothers.
And yup, he doesn't have them. The anime splits from the manga at episode 16. They change Yukio's character quite a bit. A lot, actually... -

Actually it has been said quite clear that Rin,Mephisto and Amaimon are all Satan sons-Amaimon said that his father and his brother had that interest in Rin that he couldn't understand,so he stated it clear that they are brothers and sons of the same father.
About the age they are demons so they age differently,they are centuries old. -

@ramensidders, actually mephisto is a demon from a German foklore. in this folklore he was summoned by a scholar named Johann Georg Faust, (in the anime that is the human name mephisto uses) he is supposed to be a worker of satan, who collects souls of those who are close to being damned. in the anime when there are flash backs of mephisto long ago, he makes a wager with a man, that none of us get to see. in the folklore that was Faustas that mephisto made the wager with, in 24 yeas he would give his soul to mephisto if he could not complete his work. so yeah there's a bit of story of our dear mephy <3 if your interested in it here's where i found this info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mephistopheles
