I love both of these characters, and I really do think Akane and Kikyo are the best ones Too,
but I didn't dislike Kagome. She's cute and reminded me Akari Unryu from Ranma 1/2.
Still Akane is my #1 anime/manga favorite character and has been for years now. Between Kikyo and Kagome, well I was more pulled in by Kikyo's story than Kagome. But I'm not sure, in the inuyasha series, who's my favorite female Kikyo or Sango I'm not sure if I could choose between them. Sometimes Sango Looks like Ukyo, but the way she displays her jealousy when Miroku is around other women always reminds me of Akane as well as some other traits.
Anyway...
But after those two, I really did like Kagome. Sometimes she makes me think of a innocent little child, maybe a little spoiled, but I really can't hate her. -
Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha is writted by the same person/author/etc....
