@yuki-shade: They're Red and Green, the video game characters from the the games Pokemon Red/Blue. These two spawned/evolved into Ash and Gary from the Pokemon anime, hence the pikachu and evee. (later in the anime, Gary catches an evee and has a similar relationship with it as Ash and Pikachu.)
